Lansana Gagny Sakho is a specialist in public governance, development strategy, and institutional transformation, with more than three decades of experience leading major reforms and strategic programs across Africa. An engineer with an MBA and a Doctorate in Business Administration, he has developed recognized expertise in resource mobilization, multisector program management, and the strategic support of public and private institutions.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of APIX-SA (Senegalese Agency for Investment Promotion and Major Works), where he provides strategic direction for investment promotion, oversees structural development projects, and contributes to strengthening territorial competitiveness, entrepreneurship, and innovation ecosystems. He is also President of the Cercle des Administrateurs Publics (CAP) and Secretary General of CAVIE (African Center for Strategic Intelligence and Economic Monitoring), where he promotes modern standards of governance, institutional performance, and strategic intelligence.
As a former Senior Consultant for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, he led continental initiatives in inclusive sanitation and supported governments, NGOs, and development partners in the design of public policies. He has also held several strategic responsibilities for the Government of Senegal, contributing to major reforms in water, sanitation, and territorial development.
