Lansana Gagny Sakho is a recognized expert in public governance, development strategy, and institutional transformation, with over thirty years of experience leading major reforms and strategic programs across Africa. An engineer by training, he holds an MBA and a Doctorate in Business Administration, and is also a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), attesting to his mastery of international standards and methodological excellence in strategic advisory.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of APIX-SA (Senegalese Agency for Investment Promotion and Major Works), where he provides strategic direction for investment promotion, oversees structural development projects, and contributes to enhancing territorial competitiveness, entrepreneurship, and innovation ecosystems. He is also President of the Cercle des Administrateurs Publics (CAP) and Secretary General of CAVIE (African Center for Strategic Intelligence and Economic Monitoring), where he promotes modern standards of governance, institutional performance, and strategic intelligence.
As a former Senior Consultant for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, he led continental initiatives in inclusive sanitation and supported governments, NGOs, and development partners in designing public policies. He has also held several strategic positions within the Government of Senegal, contributing to major reforms in water, sanitation, and territorial development.
