Lansana Gagny SAKHO

 

Lansana Gagny SAKHO is a Senegalese who commenced his career in the field of manufacturing management. He has crafted his skills by working in dynamic and diverse industries, offering over 20 years of strategy and development expertise within various organisational structures including multi-nationals, corporates, SMME's and non-profit sectors.

Lansana has recently been supporting the development and implementation of national agricultural and water based sector strategies. His strong management experience, professional approach, practical skills, and a desire to support genuine development initiatives make him a valued resource for many profit focused and development organizations alike. His experience encompasses supply and value chains, strategic reviews, business development, organisational restructuring, building people’s capacities, project management and systems implementation.
 
He is a dynamic and reliable leader whose is able to achieve results by combining his expansive experience. He has successfully implemented various development and sustainability programs for organisations like Government of Senegal, ITC, USAID, World Bank, and World Fair Trade Organisation. His past organizations also include, Coca-cola Company, SC Johnson Ltd, Philip Morris International, Colgate Palmolive.
 
Lansana has ran a rural water reform for the government of Senegal to strengthen private sector participation in water supply management. Since his onboarding and learning of the achievements of the project “structuring the fecal sludge market for the benefits of the poor”. He is a great champion of the sanitation utility service provision with strong private sector participation. He led the senegalese gouvernment bodies to become Africa’s reference and winners of  Pan African prize for public service & Water Leader Awards during his term.
